Hello, I'm Ryno de Wet, and I've devoted nearly two decades to photography. While my childhood aspirations mirrored my father's profession as an architect, life steered me toward a different path— My father gave me his old camera while I was in my final year of school, and I've been taking pictures ever since. After school I pursued a degree in photography at TUT. My upbringing surrounded by architecture and art (my mother is an art teacher) significantly shaped how I perceive the world around me and what I find compelling to capture through my lens.
Over my extensive career in many different fields of photography, my passion for capturing the essence and soul of spaces places and people has remained unwavering. Whether it's architecture, products, people or nature, I strive to create images that vividly portray the intricate beauty and distinctive character of each subject/place. What fuels my creativity is the ability to showcase the ingenious creations of humans alongside the breathtaking marvels of nature.
